HARTFORD, Conn. — Travelers will once again be able to utilize the Amtrak Hartford Line service as the transportation company plans on restoring the weekly service beginning Monday. The trains operate between New Haven and Springfield, Mass. via Hartford. Amtrak said the restoration is due to anticipated increased demand. The service will have seven total trains, including two weekday trains, one Saturday train, and four Sunday trains. Amtrack said it will restore the Amtrak Hartford Line trains to pre-pandemic (March 2020) levels.
